Due do the hot and dry summer we had this year, the harvest at Château de la Grange began early as in the whole Nantes vineyard.

We began harvesting on August 21st, our team starting early in the morning to avoid picking grapes that could be too warm. We have to preserve freshness in the fruits.

Heat reshapes the vintage.

As expected, the harvest volume is low. The grapes are small and the juices are concentrated due to the drought. However they are high sugar content and low in acidity. It promises an exceptional 2026 vintage, particularly rich, aromatic, and fruity, with wonderful fullness on the palate – one vintage of outstanding quality. @chateau_de_la_grange_barbastre
